The PREP team is looking for volunteers are required to assist catechists with stacking away tables and chairs in Church after religious classes on Wednesday afternoon from 4.30pm – 5pm. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Catechists are also required to teach the children of the parish about the Catholic faith. No prior training is required. Classes are held at the Church every afternoon from 3.40pm – 4.45pm during the school term. The Fund Raising Committee is organising a food stall fund raiser on Sunday 26 November.
Parishioners are asked to donate cooked food to be sold to raise funds. Those interested in contributing some food, can sign up on the forms at the back of the church. Please include your name, contact details, type of food and number of portions. Food containers will be provided.

Attention: Special Ministers, Acolytes, Choir and Catechists
As part of the 2017 Parish Audit, all special ministers, acolytes, choir members and catechists MUST read the Archdiocese’s Safeguarding Handbook and complete Form 2 and Form 18 of the Handbook.

After reading the handbook, download Form 2 and Form 18, fill it out (front and back) and place it in the blue “Safeguarding” folder at the back of the church (near the rosters). There are also blank forms in the blue folder at the back of the church if you require them.
It is a requirement that these forms are kept by the parish as official records, so please do this as soon as possible.

Deacon Mariusz will be ordained on Friday 17 November. The parish has hired two buses to take parishioners interested in attending to the Cathedral.
A $5 donation is requested if you wish to take the bus. Please sign up at the back of the church. Spaces are limited so please sign up as soon as possible.

Following his ordination. Father Mariusz will celebrate Thanksgiving Mass at 9am on Sunday 19 November at St Andrew’s.
Morning tea will follow the mass in the St Andrew’s School Hall, and everyone is requested to bring a plate to share.
The 2017 Entertainment Books are now on sale for $70 each. All proceeds will go toward the Church’s fund raising efforts. Flyers to order the book are at the back of the Church. Once completed, please place form in the box provided.
