All parishioners and Christians are invited to celebrate the World Day of Prayer on Friday 3 March 2017, 10.00am at the Church.
The World Day of Prayer is an international ecumenical Christian laywomen’s initiative and is celebrated annually in over 170 countries on the first Friday in March.
Each year the focus of the World Day of Prayer focuses on one country. In 2017, it the Philippines and the theme is Am I being Unfair to You?
During the hour long prayer service, we will reflect on the Philippines, and the lives and challenges of her people. We join other churches to celebrate both our unity in Christ and our diversity in culture.
The service is open to all people of Christian faith – men, women and children.
Filipinos are encouraged to wear their national dress.
Refreshments will be served after the service, so please bring a plate of finger food to share in fellowship with others.
Please direct all queries to Helen Smith on 0432 551 428.
